The Accelerator culminates in Demo Day 4.0 which is the high point in the CivTech Programme calendar. It is the event at which the cohort of companies present their minimum viable products to their public challenges they have been set. This event has grown in profile with Demo Day 3.0 attended by nearly 500 delegates at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

Over three years the event has grown from 150 attendees to 500 – one of the largest public sector events in Scotland. The delegates have been a mixture of public, private, third sector, academics and investors. And it is this mix which reflects the cross-sector nature of CivTech as a programme. The level of attendee has been at CxO and heads of service, together with high levels of Ministerial engagement. Government and public sector representatives from many nations attending include representation from Norway, Estonia, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, United States, UAE, and Australia, reflecting the growing interest in CivTech.
